When you’re in business for yourself, talking about numbers and money is unavoidable. There are certain accounting terms that will pop up over and over.
And if you don’t have your MBA and don’t plan on getting one, sometimes those words fly right over your head. OR maybe you do have an MBA and have forgotten some of the finer points. There’s no shame in belonging to either group.
If you’re anything like me, I just nod my head to save face as the conversation goes along so I don’t reveal that I might not know something that maybe I should as a business owner.
If you’re floating by too afraid to admit when you don’t understand the language being used in regard to accounting or finance, then this episode is for you, because I’m going over 5 accounting terms every business owner needs to know to feel smart and competent when talking about the money stuff.
