Meet Abby: Your Go-to Numbers Person

I have always had a deep affinity for numbers. From taking extra math classes in college to creating spreadsheets for fun, numbers have been a constant source of joy in my life!

Yet for many, they are a hurdle. When I started Golden Ratio Bookkeeping, I wanted to make a meaningful difference in my client’s lives – not simply fulfill an item on their to-do list. 

Whether we are focusing on maximizing profits or organizing complicated books, you’ll be working with someone whose love for numbers and entrepreneurship will shine through.

This passion for supporting service providers is what led me to leave my high-paying, secure engineering career of 10 years. Now I get to nerd out daily, transforming bookkeeping into an empowering tool instead of a stressor!

I live in Wichita, Kansas with my husband, our three children, and Kingsley, our elderly German Shepherd.

Additionally, I have a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

  • To ensure a superior customer experience, we take on a very limited number of monthly bookkeeping clients. Currently, we have one space available for a new client.

  • We currently collaborate with professional experts with these types of business models:

    done-for-you professional services, business-to-business consulting, 1-to-1 coaching or counseling, group coaching or training programs, assessment or typing services, or workshop and speaking events. If you don’t fit neatly into one of these categories, don’t fret we’ve taken on clients outside of these models if the work excites us and they’re a good fit. We do NOT work with nonprofits, they have specific needs that we choose not to specialize in.

  • We fully customize our services for every single client! During your Discovery Call, we'll take some time to get to know each other, review your goals and plans for the future, and go over any questions you have. From there we'll discuss the next steps and come up with a plan that works for where you’re at.

  • We ask all of our clients to commit about 15 minutes every week to send us supporting bookkeeping documents or answer questions. Some of our clients like to meet with us once every month, but it depends on how involved you like to be!

  • Not much! If you come from zero bookkeeping, we generally ask for client and product lists to help get things going. In high-volume transaction cases, we might recommend investing in an auto-feed receipt scanner or receipt scanning service.

  • Nada! We provide the software needed to complete your bookkeeping project. If you already have something existing that we plan to keep using, we’ll walk you through adding us to your account.

  • The investment to work with us is a flat monthly payment that way there are no surprises if one month gets wacky plus you can budget and forecast accordingly. Your monthly bookkeeping package will depend on the complexity of your business and your service needs. Our monthly services start at $250 per month.

  • The accounting “file” inside of the accounting software is always yours. It’s yours before we work together, it’s yours while we work together, and it’s yours after we work together.
